They have been born!

Ashlyn

Its over, and they are out.

Hanna & Ashlyn Hayes were born tonight at 7:09pm MST time, weighing 2lbs 10oz and 2lbs 3oz respectively. The whole C-section was amazingly fast, like 30 minutes from walking out of her room until sitting there with babies coming out in the OR...unreal.

Ashlyn had fluid drained from her right lung area twice, and there were some very tense moments early. She was not doing great early on, but after the fluid drained, is doing much better. She is tiny! They have her all wired up in the NICU (which is difficult to see), and she is intubated.

Hanna was doing better initally, and then had to intubated as well. She looks much better and a little bigger, and was crowing and peeping a bit.

We just visited the NICU, and they are both stable and doing pretty well.

Sara is doing great, and is already back in her room resting. More later tonight.....
